With over seventy years of heritage, Nakamichi sought Kinsman Design's expertise to refresh its brand strategy, market positioning, and visual identity to align with modern market demands. The goal was to create a versatile brand strategy that could cover new product ranges from global licensing partners while preserving Nakamichi's core values like innovative design. The challenge was to appeal to younger consumers without compromising the brand's excellence. We devised a new brand positioning centered on "living up your moments," resonating with target audiences and showcasing a diverse product range.
